If you are worried about being in a smallish city DON’T BE. The class schedule flexibility allows for more travel than my friends who were elsewhere, but also Weisbaden and Frankfurt have enough activities at night to keep you interested, but also chill enough to get to know the locals and other students.  It’s also extremely safe.

Grounded in their strengths as a pioneer in private, internationally oriented business education institution, EBS strives to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, research and executive education in the field of business studies. EBS offers a well-balanced programme portfolio that includes undergraduate degrees in business and law, Master’s degrees, a doctoral studies programme and the German Habilitation. EBS is known for its internationality, social responsibility and strong corporate as well as alumni networks. Founded in 1971, EBS is Germany’s oldest private business school. It is also the only program which has several classes in Real Estate.

The undergraduate business program at EBS is located in Oestrich-Winkel, a small town (12,000 inhabitants) located in the beautiful Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis area of Germany, and only 20 minutes from Weisbaden and an hour from Frankfurt, the financial capital of Germany. Other campus facilities and schools (Law, Arts) for EBS are located in Weisbaden.

Courses:
EBS Bachelor’s programmes are taught in modules. Modules are groups of course which are linked together by a single exam and can only be registered for as a whole. At the end of the semester, the modules will appear on the transcript of record as one module with one grade. It is not possible to split this grade into grades for each single course.

Housing:
EBS Housing has limited dormitory housing in Oestrich-Winkel. The housing office also assists international students in finding affordable, furnished and convenient accommodation near both campus sites (most students prefer to live in Weisbaden, a larger city than Oestrich-Winkel and commute to campus). EBS Housing will supply information on suitable apartments and flats (single, shared and dorm space) in the vicinity of the University to the students after their admission and offers to assist in making the reservation.

The approximate costs of Housing is € 350 – € 450 per month.
