Units and focus area vary by section. Please review each class's details thoroughly.
Both March and May travel dates are offered as well as one non-travel option.
Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own flights to and from the program destination.

Singapore -- Adaptive Solution Building with AI | MARCH Travel

This course will explore the impact AI continues to have in the business world and equip you to excel in the new employment landscape. While in Singapore, you will play a leadership role at a conference on AI use and participate in a friendly global case competition focused on adaptive thinking, adaptive solution building, problem solving, and creativity.

*AICamps are part of a global organization of 400,000+ AI/ML enthusiasts. AI-CAMP-Los Angeles is sponsored by the USC Marshall MS Business Analytics program and held at McKay’s (across the street from campus). These are typically on the first Wednesday of the month – not yet scheduled for next year and TBA. There will be a substitution option via AI-LA, AICamp and AI Seminar (Virtual) for those with a conflicting class. Students will also be asked to attend and report on additional speaking event – a session, meet-up, presenter in class – to enhance content expertise.

Singapore/Thailand -- The Global Context of Business | MARCH Travel

This course takes you to two countries in Southeast Asia. Singapore is extremely wealthy and a leading high-tech manufacturer while Thailand is a developing nation known as the “Detroit of the East” with ambitious plans to grow its economy. By taking this course, you will have a front-row seat as you work with your classmates to compare and contrast these two economies—and come away with a better understanding of global business.

Non-Travel -- GLOBE LA(TAM)

This non-travel but still very experiential course takes a close look at Mexico, exploring its role as a rapidly growing economy that serves as a gateway to other Latin American countries. You will hone your skills in global business and multicultural marketing and work on a real project for a Mexican firm using all of your learning about international commerce and the needs of a changing consumer segment.
