Registration Information & Interest Lists

Registration Information:

Registration updates for the Spring 2025 semester have concluded.

Registration Procedures:

WRIT 340: At the end of 1st week of classes, sections are switched to D-clearance; students are discouraged from adding these courses after the first week and need instructor permission. WRIT 340 professors have the option to not add students after week 2.

BAEP Courses: Most BAEP undergraduate electives (including BUAD 201 and BUAD 301) are switched to D-clearance after the first week of classes. Students wanting to register after the first week should fill in this form with the faculty's approval email attached. For questions or concerns, please contact jayu@marshall.usc.edu.

An instructor may drop any student who, without prior consent, does not attend the first two class sessions or the first class session of the semester for a once-a-week class. The instructor is not required to notify the student that they are being dropped.

At the end of the second week of the term, all courses will switch to D-clearance. At this point, students must obtain permission from the professor to add the course. If permission is granted and space is available, the instructor will notify the Leventhal Undergraduate Program office to add the student. There are no waitlists.

ACCT 370 and ACCT 371 will remain D-clearance throughout the entire registration period. Students should contact their Leventhal academic advisor for D-clearance assistance.
