Career Services Advisors are available by appointment and for walk-in advising throughout most of the academic year. During the summer and school breaks, advisors are available by appointment only. All current undergraduate Marshall majors are eligible for career advising.

Onma Lwin (bio)

Onma brings over 25 years of diverse experience in talent management to Marshall Undergraduate Career Services.  She began her career in executive search with global firms such as Korn/Ferry International, Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart.  She was then recruited to lead the corporate staffing and university relations for Nestle USA.  In 2010, Onma joined USC Marshall School of Business as a Corporate Liaison in the MBA Career Services.  There she worked with the full-time and PM MBA programs.  She also served as Associate Director of Career Services for the mid-career international IBEAR MBA program.  Onma sees her career as having evolved from helping great companies find talent to helping great talent find their employer of choice.

Onma earned her B.A. from Vassar College and her M.S. from the London School of Economics.  In her spare time, Onma volunteers in her local community and enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family.

Lisa Luna (bio)

An innovative team-player who is unafraid to think differently, always going the extra mile and keeps current on the latest career services trends. Lisa has over ten years of experience in higher education including career services, recruitment/admissions and academic planning. In addition she spent five years in the healthcare industry serving as an office manager for a large private practice facility and as a freelance program coordinator for pharmaceutical sales force training.

As Associate Director, she contributes and manages content for key communication pieces, identifies opportunities for improvement and growth by tracking and managing data for external and internal audits, and successfully manages and maintains our student and employer engagement platform, Handshake.

She enjoys a good cup of coffee, reading with her son, and random weekend adventures.

Claudia Aguilar (bio)

Claudia has been working and mentoring undergraduate college students for the last 23 years.  After starting her professional career in the corporate world as a recruiter, she quickly realized her calling was to help provide guidance to young professionals just beginning their journey.  She joined the non-profit,  INROADS, Inc., as a Professional Development Associate after benefitting from the organization’s summer internship program as a student for three years.  During her time at INROADS, she managed clients such as Deloitte, PWC, IBM, Bank of America, and Kaiser Permanente and helped them identify diverse undergraduate talent for their hiring needs in a variety of functional areas. In 2017 Claudia shifted her career to higher education when she joined Occidental College’s Hameetman Career Center.  She enjoyed the amazing Liberal Arts community at Oxy and working with students that are passionate about so many things.  She is thrilled to now be at her alma mater, working with her fellow Trojans.

Claudia received her B.A. in Communication from Annenberg at University of Southern California.  She lives in the Greater Los Angeles area with her husband, four children, and Russian Tortoise – Tzatziki.  She loves food, music, travel and learning random facts.  In her spare time she enjoys volunteering with her congregation.

Katie Nunez (bio)

Katie has been a career and professional development counselor in higher education for over 13 years and has worked closely alongside southern california undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to ensure that all students have access and equity as a part of their professional dreams and passions. She works with students one-on-one, in the classroom, and in group settings where she focuses on assisting students in identifying and articulating the value of their education and background within the economy. Katie received her M.S. in Counseling with a Specialization in Student Development in Higher Education from California State University Long Beach in Long Beach, CA, and obtained her B.A. with two minors in Sociology and Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

In her spare time, she loves walking/hiking with her two dogs, Mookie and Lola Maria, going paddle boarding with them, and taking them on travel adventures. Katie is an avid athlete, including soccer, volleyball, long-distance running, track and field, surfing, and loves to travel, particularly to international destinations. She has been to 6 continents, 34 countries, and 43 states. Lastly, Katie also loves to read about neuroscience to further engage in learning and understanding the human experience.

Paul Hardister (bio)

Paul has provided career services to students across various disciplines for over 15 years at The Claremont Colleges and Occidental College. Most recently, he held the position of Associate Director of Employer Relations and Experiential Programs at Pomona College. Paul has a B.A. in Mathematics from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from The George Washington University. He has experience creating programs for first-year students, managing internship programs, collecting data for business school rankings, overseeing campus recruiting and working with recruiters across industries. He looks forward to assisting Trojans in pursuit of their career aspirations. 

Paul has a passion for cinema. He is a member of Film Independent and The American Cinematheque. He has produced feature films as well as shorts that appeared on UPtv, Link TV and Here TV and have been distributed by BRINKvision and Wolfe Video.

Hannah Neal (bio)

Hannah is a career services and education professional with 3+ years of experience working in a career development and training nonprofit organization in partnership with the Oregon Employment Department. Hannah brings experience coordinating a variety of services and programs helping job seekers attain their career goals, including supporting a youth education and career development center that engaged high school students in college and career readiness programming. Prior to working in career services, Hannah worked as an English teacher in Cordoba, Spain.

 

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Hannah attended Occidental College in Los Angeles where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Urban and Environmental Policy. During her time as an undergraduate student, Hannah studied abroad in Granada, Spain, and later, Vienna, Austria, inspiring her passion for travel and new experiences. After spending some years away, Hannah is thrilled to be back in Los Angeles where she enjoys going to the beach, hiking, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the LA food scene.

Nick Eittreim (bio)

Nick is a higher education professional with an unwavering passion for empowering undergraduate students on their journey to success. After obtaining his B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, Nick started his professional career in higher education recruitment. Nick brings experience in employer relations, career services, and event management, and most recently, he worked as a dedicated campus recruiter for a digital services firm, where he guided ambitious undergraduates to seize coveted job placements and internships, nurturing the brightest minds for future success.

Beyond the workplace, Nick indulges his love for movies with his AMC-movie pass, challenges himself on his Peloton bike, and enjoys discovering new LA hiking trails and coffee spots.
