TSP is a 7-session, 9-week program that helps incoming Marshall transfer students maximize their time at USC and build a community among other transfer students.

Benefits of Joining
- Gain access to a community of peers at Marshall that can be a continuous source of support during the program and throughout your time at USC;
- Receive personalized assistance regarding academic and career goals from Marshall staff, including the Marshall Student Affairs Team, Marshall Career Advisors, and Marshall faculty;
- Be introduced to university resources as you transition into USC Marshall;
- Network with and learn from Marshall Transfer Alumni who are now in the workforce, and Marshall student leaders;
- And strengthen key skills needed to succeed as a Marshall student and business professional.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an incoming transfer student at USC Marshall School of Business for Spring 2025.
- Incoming Leventhal Transfer Students should apply to the Leventhal Transfer Program.
- Although open to all transfer students, TSP is intended for students who are historically from underrepresented ethnic and cultural backgrounds, or who identify as first generation (first in their family) to go to college.
- Must complete the online application by December 16, 2024 at 11:59pm.
Expectations
- If selected to participate in the program, you must be available to attend all of the sessions* and events noted below (accommodations can be made on a case-by-case basis):
- TSP Welcome Session: Fri, January 10, 11:30am-4pm PST (this is the Friday before classes start)
- *Week 1 Session 1, January 14: Getting Involved at USC
- *Week 2 Session 2, January 21: Strategies for Success in Marshall Courses
- Week 3 January 28: No session- Off Week
- *Week 4 Session 3, February 4: Career Planning for Transfers
- Week 5 February 11: No Session- Marshall Career Fair
- *Week 6 Session 4, February 18: Positive Well-Being and Mental Health
- *Week 7, Session 5, February 25: Alumni Insights Panel
- Week 8 March 4: No Session- Off Week
- *Week 9 Session 6, March 11: Next Steps
*Please note that all six of the Tuesday sessions will occur from 5:00pm-6:50pm PST, pending room reservations. To participate in this program, you cannot have a class scheduled for that time.
