Established in 1853, the University of Melbourne was Australia’s second university. The university is located 1.5 km from the central business district in Victoria. The university houses over 1700 international students from 40 countries. The University of Melbourne defines itself as an international research-based university that maintains the highest quality of education. It is one of the top Universities in the world, and has been ranked in the top-25 institutions in the world for the past 15 years.

Courses:
The University of Melbourne is one of the top research institutions in the world. Its Faculty (school) of Commerce is held in the highest regard. They offer a full compliment of business courses, including courses in Management, Marketing, Finance, Business Law and Information Systems. They are known for strong programs in Marketing, Management and Finance. Students are expected to enroll in 4 12.5-unit courses during the semester (equivalent to 16 USC units).

Other: Students are encouraged to participate in orientation. Orientation is seven nights and the cost includes all meals, hosts and some entertainment.
