The Marshall Undergraduate Experience

The Marshall Undergraduate Experience programming equips all Marshall students with the tools necessary for a successful career at USC Marshall and provides supportive programming for all current Marshall students from First-Years to Soon-to-be-Graduates.

The Marshall Undergraduate Experience (formerly Marshall First-Year Experience) includes a wide variety of programs to support and engage all Marshall students throughout their academic career at USC. The Marshall Undergraduate Experience is designed to help students navigate academic and career resources, become involved in student life, and foster a sense of belonging within the Marshall community.

The events put on by the Marshall Undergraduate Student Affairs team will include programming and support for students throughout their entire USC Marshall career.

Events in previous semesters have included:

- Start Spring Semester Strong (with the USC Kortschalk Center)

- Wellness at Marshall (with the Marshall Embedded Mental Health Counselor)

- Scholarship Review Workshop (offered in Spring before MCSS Deadline)

- Getting Involved at Marshall: Navigating Marshall Recognized Student Orgs

- Advising Refresher Workshop
