Marshall academic advisors are offering both in-person and Zoom advising options. If meeting in-person, indoor masking is strongly recommended as a way to protect yourself and others in the community. Advisors are also available to answer advisement questions via email; students may email their advisor directly or email undergrad.advising@marshall.usc.edu. Advisors usually respond within 2-5 business days.
Appointments: Marshall majors may schedule an advisement appointment by calling 213-740-0690 during business hours (M-F 8:30-5) or by using the link provided to them by their advisor. Most Marshall majors can find the name of their current advisor on myUSC, and staff email addresses can be found in the USC Directory. Please email undergrad.advising@marshall.usc.edu if you cannot locate the name of your advisor or would like to request their scheduling link. Marshall majors can also utilize our faculty elective advisors if they need detailed information about the content of upper division business elective and emphases courses.
Drop-in Advising: Marshall majors, minors, and prospective internal transfers may meet with an on-call advisor on a drop-in basis via Zoom on Monday through Thursday from 3-4:00 during the academic year. Marshall majors with questions requiring more than 10 minutes should schedule an appointment. Current USC students who are interested in adding a Marshall major or minor or applying for internal transfer can find information on our Applying to Marshall page; prospective internal transfer applicants should view our online information session prior to attending drop-in advising. There is no drop-in advising during the summer or school breaks but students can email their questions to undergrad.advising@marshall.usc.edu.
In addition, students may also utilize online resources such as their STARS report (on OASIS) and their most recent course plan (Undergraduate Advisement widget on myUSC).
