“This is one of the best experiences ever. Be prepared to meet people from a completely different background than yourself and try to make friends from all around the world. After this experience I want to travel in Asia and around the world. This is, by far, my best college experience — so take advantage of it.”

Jessica Chase, HKUST, Fall 2004

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) opened its doors to students and faculty in October 1991. The University has since been dedicated to the advancement of learning and scholarship with close collaboration with business and industry. HKUST is dedicated to establishing itself as a leader in technology and research. The 60 hectare site is situated on the northern end of Clear Water Bay Peninsula along Port Shelter. HKUST maintains an excellent faculty from all over the world. The School of Business and Management is comprised of six major departments: accounting, economics, finance, information systems, management of organizations, and marketing. The departments focus on current business topics within the Asia-Pacific region.
