Transfer Students

Review your Transfer Credit Report to ensure all intended coursework has transferred to USC. Be sure to submit all official transcripts to the Articulation Office before the end of your first semester.

Schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor if you have any questions or concerns regarding your transfer coursework. Your Academic Advisor's contact information can be found on your AdviseUSC profile.

During Welcome Week, attend New Student Welcome and the USC Involvement Fair to find out more information about how to get involved with Marshall Student Organizations and USC Campus Activities.

Attend Marshall Experience Events to hear from your fellow peers about how they have made the most of their USC Marshall experience, and get connected with Marshall resources and offices.

Join the Robert J. Coury Applied Leadership Program to identify and develop your strengths and values as a leader.

Meet with your Academic Advisor regularly to discuss your academic goals and performance, receive assistance in understanding the Marshall undergraduate curriculum, and obtain information about the various opportunities on campus.

Be sure to schedule your Mandatory Advising appointment with your Academic Advisor when it’s time to register for the next semester. Your Academic Advisor's contact information can be found on your AdviseUSC profile.

Log onto Handshake and complete your profile and career interests. If you need assistance navigating Handshake, email ugcareers@marshall.usc.edu.

Attend various Marshall Career Workshops and Events. Topics include creating your resume, conducting informational interviews, networking strategies, and more. For additional details and to RSVP, please log onto Handshake and click on “Events.”

Make it a routine to visit your professors’ office hours regularly.

Apply for the Career Advantage Program (CAP).  This mentoring program provides sophomore, junior, and senior-level undergraduates the opportunity to be paired with a Marshall alum who can assist them in developing their professional, interpersonal, and networking skills for a full academic year.

Attend weekly study sessions for quantitative Marshall courses including ECON 351x, ECON 352x, BUAD 306, BUAD 308, BUAD 310, and BUAD 311. For the most up-to-date schedule, speak with your course instructor or find more information in your course syllabus.

Explore a global opportunity by applying for the Transfer International Experience (TIE) program.

Meet with your Academic Advisor to discuss how you can study abroad through Marshall’s International Exchange Program.
