Graduate Certificate in Risk Management
The Graduate Certificate in Risk Management provides USC graduate students with an understanding of the processes and tools necessary for effective risk management across a variety of industries, including financial services, technology, real estate, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing, entertainment, sports and insurance, to name a few. Students will acquire skills that are useful in facing the challenges of an increasingly complex and interconnected business environment.
Earning the certificate begins with a formal application and admission. For information regarding how to apply, visit students.marshall.usc.edu/graduate-certificate-admissions-usc-students.
The certificate requires the completion of 12 units that include required course work and electives. The program may be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. For more information about the curriculum, search for the program in the USC Catalogue.
Units earned in the process of completing the MBA, MMS and some other master's degree programs at USC can be applied to the certificate as long as the certificate is completed before or in the same semester as the master's degree. Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate program is documented on the graduate's USC transcript and acknowledged with a diploma issued by USC.
