Overview of the Lab

Welcome to the Marshall Behavioral Research Lab at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. The purpose of the lab is to provide Marshall faculty and doctoral students a space to conduct interdisciplinary research in human decision making and behavior. Learn more about the types of research we do and the equipment we offer in our facilities.

The lab conducts innovative research on human behavior, decision-making, and psychology in business contexts. Our lab uses cutting-edge methods like behavioral experiments, neuroimaging, and computational modeling to uncover new insights into consumer behavior, organizational behavior, behavioral ethics, and judgment and decision making. We aim to generate theoretical knowledge as well as practical tools and interventions for improving business practices and policies. The lab was founded in 2017.
