Facilities
We have a variety of different research space options including a reception area for participants to wait while researchers conduct their studies.
A total of 15 rooms provide ample space to conduct multiple concurrent study sessions. The room options include:
- one computer lab with 16 terminals
- two 8-person rooms with 1 computer
- twelve 3-person rooms with 1 computer
We also have a separate computer lab specialized for in-person studies, featuring separate cubicle workstations and monitors.
Equipment
Each room has at least one computer running Windows. All computers at minimum have Microsoft Office, Chrome, Firefox, IE, Media player, QuickTime, and Text editor.
The following is a list of equipment available for use:
-Video Audio & Video System (Noldus):
- Viso Software: Uses an advanced camera system that monitors and records in real time.
- FaceReader Software: Automatic analysis of facial expressions.
-Eye trackers (Tobii): State-of-the-art screen-based eye tracker capturing gaze data.
- Pro Lab Software: Stationary experimental designs that involve presenting stimuli on a screen.
- Pro Studio Software: Software that supports the entire research process, from test design (images, texts, videos), recording, and observation to the interpretation and presentation of results.
-Intercom System (Extron): Remotely speak to participants in any room, on-demand via room integrated audio system.
-Psychophysiology (Biopac + AcqKnowledge): Requires special permission to use.
